About PlasticMachHub

PlasticMachHub is a free set of plastics, resin and 3D printing calculators: 3D printing cost and time, filament length and weight, E-steps, plastic density and weight, mil thickness, recycling codes, epoxy resin and coverage, heat shrink tubing, trash bag sizes and injection moulding clamp force. Each page does one job and works straight away: there is no account and nothing to install.

How it works

• Everything runs in your browser. What you type or choose stays on your device; nothing is uploaded.
• Results are computed, not typed in. The worked examples on each page are produced by the same code the calculator runs, and the code is tested against reference values from textbooks, published formulas and hand calculations.
• Every result shows its working. Each calculator lists the formula and the steps with your numbers, and the result can be printed or saved as a PDF with the inputs and the date.
• Estimates, not certified calculations. Check results against the material and machine makers’ data.
• Third-party material used on the site is listed on the credits page.
